I haven’t written anything about Haiti. It is such a terrible tragedy and all of the reports of people saying that “the people of Haiti made God angry and that the earthquake was divine retribution” is a bunch of ****. It really really makes me angry when all these religious nuts come out of the woodwork proclaiming that natural disasters are messages from God. What about the meteorite or asteroid that killed off the dinosaurs. Did the dinosaurs piss God off?! No, it was a natural occurrence. The loss of life and devastation really breaks my heart.

Ugh, anyway.. There was a story yesterday all over the news about the little boy who was found after 8 days buried under his home. It’s truly amazing how powerful the human body is. Anderson Cooper (<3) did an interview from the little boy’s bedside which I watched this morning on CNN. It’s incredible that this little 5 year old boy was able to survive for over a week with no food or water, trapped in the rubble under a collapsed building. I really hope he makes a full recovery..

My thoughts are with everyone in Haiti and with those of you who have family members there.
