Jon & Kate Make Me Sad
Posted by VickyC on January 12th, 2010So I was channel hopping, and landed on the second Gosselin 1 hour special Surviving Sextuplets and Twins: One Year Later. It showed (in extreme detail, may I add) the graphic tummy tuck surgery that Kate had one year after giving birth to the sextuplets.
It makes me sad how Jon and Kate went from loving parents to ripping each other to shreds via press releases and glossy mag articles. And it makes me sad how much of a douche Jon is. There was one clip where Jon was snuggling in her neck when she arrived back home.. it was a bit bizarre!
I’m so happy that Kate was able to get the surgery that she wanted – but isn’t it disgustingly ironic that on one side, you see the kindness of Dr. Glassman and his wife by contacting Kate and giving her the surgery for free and opening up their home to her during her post-op recovery and then on the other side you have their daughter, Hailey Glassman, who was Jon’s girlfriend after/(while) he was married to Kate. Yuck.
And then, to top it all off, Hailey did an interview last week saying how hot Kate is with her new hair and how much of a super douche Jon is. Yes, she is right on both counts, Kate’s hair does look cute and Jon is just ridiculous.. But I’m sure all of the sucking up on Hailey’s part won’t pay off.. These two won’t be going to get their hair done together any time soon.. I bet Kate is glad she doesn’t have this mess hanging around anywhere near her beautiful kids – what a great role model!!!
I’m glad that the Gosselin children have their mummy. It really gave me the sads watching Kate return from her surgery and being with her babies and they were so cute and happy to see her! One of the little girls kept saying “hi…. mummy….. hi…… hi……”! So precious!
