Victoria Beckham on American Idol

Victoria Beckham was the guest judge on tonight’s season premier of American Idol. I actually like Victoria Beckham a lot. And she was a really nice judge. A lot of people slate her in the papers – she looks grumpy, she wears her 6 inch heels to take her boys to get ice-cream, she dresses like a secretary, etc, etc.. Not everyone has a naturally “smily” face.. And at least she takes care of her kids – *ahem, Katie Price/Jordan*… You don’t see her falling out of a club or a cab on random nights of the week – or any night ever for that matter.. She doesn’t go around having public slagging matches with people via the tabloids. She’s a really good mum to her boys, she’s very ambitious with her clothing line.. As far as I’m concerned, I think she’s a really good role model for girls growing up today.
And so what if she wears 6 inch heels to the park with her boys?! If I could afford shoes like that I’d wear them out everywhere too!!! And yes, she might be a bit on the thin side, but at least she’s not showing every inch of flesh off. And she’s not writing “tell-all” books or selling her story to the tabloids.
Yes she has implants and she always looks a bit too tanned, but I love her look now. She’s always completely covered up. It’s a super classy look and the dresses from her clothing line are really classic and beautiful.
I’m really glad she was a judge on American Idol. It was nice to see her smily and chatty – not as she is shown in all the papers! Good job VB!!
