A lot of people slate Victoria Beckham.. But you have to admit when you see her new collection that it is BEAUTIFUL!

Surprisingly, there are no prices. I thought that there were before – I’m probably just crazy! I don’t think anything is less than $1,000..

As well as having dresses, VB is now designing denim wear and sunglasses. I’d like to see her design some shoes – maybe collaborate with someone.. Or some purses. And it would be awesome if she did a highstreet brand.. But I don’t know if that would be her thing.. maybe..??

I can’t remember where I read this, but her designs are so sought after that most of the time they don’t even make it to the shop floor! I’m glad she’s doing well! And that everyone who was talking crap about her before is forced to eat a slice of low carb, fat free humble pie!

I love her dresses, I think that they’re absolutely gorgeous.. When I’m slimmer & richer, I’ll have to get one!!!

So I’m sure you’ve all seen the reports about the crazy winter storms that are hitting parts of the world that normally only receive a meagre dusting of snow each year. From China to the UK to Florida, countries are being brought to a standstill because of the terrible weather conditions.

Having lived in a cold country, I know that it’s possible for councils and governments to get their acts together – especially in countries like the UK. A lot of people are arguing that since this kind of weather is uncommon in England, that it should not be seen as irresponsible for governments to not be prepared for winter weather – it should just be sort of a lesson so that they know to prepare better next time. I just hope that when all of the snow thaws, that the councils have begun to prepare for the flooding that is no doubt likely to occur…

So, what happened to Global Warming? According to some scientists, the entire northern hemisphere has entered into a “mini ice age”. Weather isn’t something that can be predicted, it has always fluctuated – heating up and cooling down.

And according to the US National Snow and Ice Data Centre in Colorado, since 2007, the Arctic summer sea ice has increased around 26%. Global warming?! I don’t think so.. It’s just the Earth going through it’s natural *random* cycle of warming and cooling. What caused the medieval warming period? Were the medieval pilgrims burning too much wood? Were their carts not carbon friendly? Were the cows too gassy?

And these weather scientists.. They can’t even get next week’s weather right, but they expect to be able to predict the weather for the next 100 years?! I don’t think so..

For those of you in England who still have their rubbish from Christmas sitting outside their houses, I hope your local council get it in gear and picks up your rubbish before Easter!

In the meantime, why not sit back and enjoy a nice winter warmer with a kick! Or for the warm wintery taste but without the alcohol why not try a virgin winter warmer!

Sounds a bit like the sports scores!!! Anyway, let me know at the bottom how you will be pronouncing 2010!

So, a lot of exciting things happening this year. Vancouver Winter olympics. I really like the winter olympics. I think figure skating is the coolest thing ever. It amazes me how people can skate and twizzle about with such grace.. I can’t even walk on ice without being gripped with fear because I feel like I’m going to fall and break my face at any second!

And kids that can skate amazes me as well! I can barely walk properly now without walking into things all the time and these little people are flying around on their little tiny kiddy skates! Amazing! So, will you be watching the winter olympics? Better yet, do you have a much coveted ticket to actually go to see the games??? If you do, that’s amazing and I’m very jealous!

And of course, there are the Commonwealth Games in October 2010 hosted in New Delhi, India. Apparently there will be over 70 participating teams – although there are only 54 commonwealth countries/nations…

This year is the Chinese year of the Tiger.. So all of you who were born in 1999, 1987, 1975, 1963, 1951, 1939 etc.. You are all tigers.. Grr! So if this is your year, it’s supposed to be very lucky!

But, keep in mind Chinese New Year isn’t until February 14 this year – yes, Chinese New Year will be on the same day as Valentine’s Day – so there’s no excuse for all you non-Chinese folk to forget and to keep asking us Chinese folk when Chinese New Year is and what animal year it is.. It’s the same day as Valentine’s day and it’s a Tiger! GRR!!!

What else..? Maybe there aren’t that many exciting this for this year…??? That can’t be right!

So 2009 is slowly coming to an end. We’ve had some pretty good movies this year.. Angels & Demons – the movie was good, but the book was MUCH better; Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen – Love it!; Taken – a nice little “revenge” movie… But what’s hot for next year?

Here are what I think will be the hottest movies of 2010:

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
A hot movie list just wouldn’t be the same without the next installment of the Twilight series. Protagonist Bella has to chose between her boyfriend Edward and werewolf Jacob – Who will she choose?! This movie is due to open on June 30, 2010. I wonder how much it will make on its opening weekend!

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows – Part 1

Voldemort has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Harry, Ron and Hermoine are determined to finish Dumbledore’s work and find the rest of the Horcruxes in an attempt to defeat He Who Must Not Be Named. Everything has to go as planned, as little hope remains for the three young friends.  Part 1 is due to hit theatres November 19, 2010. Part 2 is due for release in July 2011.

Inception
From the man who brought us Batman Begins and the Dark Knight comes a movie about a corporate blackmailing scandal. Doesn’t sound very interesting, but the trailer looks really good, and if the the Batman movies have showed us anything, it’s that Nolan’s movies are awesome! This movie hits theaters on September 3, 2010.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
This is the third movie in the Narnia series. Edmund, Lucy and Eustace return to help King Caspian on a mission to find the seven lost Lords of Narnia. They will meet old friends and new enemies on their journey to mysterious faraway lands. After some budgeting issues, the current release date for this film is December 10, 2010.

Alice In Wonderland
I love Johnny Depp, so no matter what weird and crazy makeup he’s wearing, I still think he looks amazing.. Am I weird..??? Anyway.. This is the follow up to Lewis Carroll’s original story. Alice is now 19, and returns to magical Wonderland – but doesn’t remember her visit as a child. She reunites with old friends to learn her true destiny – to save Wonderland from the Red Queen’s tyrannical rule. March 5, 2010 – You’ve got a very important date!

The Book of Eli
A lone man (fights his way across America in a post-apocalyptic world. He has to protect a sacred book that holds the only secrets to save the human race. Sounds pretty intense…! What better way to roll in the new year than with a nice apocalypse film! This movie stars Denzel Washington and Mila Kunis.. So it could be pretty good. It’s due to hit the big screen January 15, 2010.

Iron Man 2
Sequel to the comic book adaptation Iron Man, which is set 6 months after the end of the first movie. I mean, it sounds like your typical superhero movie. Internal struggle of a person who has responsibilities as both a human and superhero.. But it does star Robert Downy Jr – reprising his role from the first movie… Girls, I think he’s enough of a reason to go see this movie. And guy’s, it also stars Scarlett Johansson.. Enjoyment for everyone! Hot people on the big screen – May 7, 2010.

Price of Persia: The Sands of Time
This is a movie version of the console game. A rogue price (Jake Gyllenhaal) teams up with a rival princess (Gemma Arterton – former Bond girl) and together they race against evil forces to procure an ancient dagger that is capable of releasing the sands of time – which can control time and allow the owner to rule the world. But although it sounds like your average “guy-movie”, it is directed by Jerry Bruckheimer (the man/genius behind Pirates of the Caribbean, CSI and Confessions of a Shopaholic), so I think it could actually be not too bad! This movie is due to hit theatres May 28, 2010.

Toy Story 3
I’m excited. I love the Toy Story movies!!! I think this one is going to be GREAT! They toys getting put in the attic – but accidentally getting thrown out and ending up at a daycare and Buzz being reset to Spanish.. So many things!!! Get ready to join Woody, Buzz and all the other toys again on June 18, 2010 – No Toy Gets Left Behind!
