1 week to the Copenhagen Conference

The news is being more widely circulated now.. Especially with the situation with Canada, websites like Globeandmail.ca, Nationalpost.com and Canada.com are reporting on PM Harper’s responses to the other Commonwealth countries criticising Canada’s emissions. Apparently he is going to match the goals of the USA. I’m preparing a post with the real data – and then you can see for yourself where they are getting these numbers from, and why their treatment of Canada at this Commonwealth meeting has been completely unfair.

In terms of Climategate – there has been almost NO coverage of it in the mainstream media. Surprisingly today, the Dailymail.co.uk had 3 articles on climate change. I think the biggest news is that Nick Griffin – the far-right wing leader of the British political party The BNP is being allowed to attend the Copenhagen conference – which is due to take place in 1 week. Regarding the upcoming conference, Mr Griffin’s spokesperson said “It’s a global Marxist mantra that is going to be used to beat people around the head, tax us to the hilt, smash nations and impose a one world government”. Well said!!

This is pretty epic news – despite the fact that the newspaper reported that “his presence at this major event is likely to spark widespread anger” – even though he’s an elected MP – unlike many others… I’m sure they actually are angry though – how dare the UN allow an honest man who speaks his mind into their communist propaganda fuelled clique. Finally, someone who isn’t being brainwashed by this rubbish is going to be allowed to voice their opinion.

I mean, this whole Copenhagen thing is nothing but a giant money-making scam anyway. There are so many dissenting voices by experts in the field of global warming who can point to evidence that the whole thing is a natural phenomenon – but they are being hushed. It’s also another way for us to be further controlled by these New World Order forces. It’s time that the other side of the argument has it’s chance to speak up.

I think it’s important to note that whether or not you believe in man made climate change, you have to acknowledge the fact that data HAS BEEN COOKED – you don’t have to believe the data, the CRU emails prove this. And then if you look at how it’s been portrayed in the mainstream media outlets, i.e. BARELY covered at all, then I think it’s quite fair to say that the media dictates what we are supposed to know and what is intentionally hidden from us. I don’t know about you, but this doesn’t make me happy. It’s actually quite scary. It’s like Nazi propaganda scaremongering…

I’m going to try to get the data posted on here tomorrow. But for now I’ll leave you with today’s links from the Dailymail.co.uk.

Stephen Glover: I might not know the truth about climate change, but I recognize trickery and slippery excuses when I see them
Peter Hitchens: The inconvenient truths Mr Gore and his fanatical friends DIDN’T tell you about climate change

Part 2. The Copenhagen Treaty. A New World Government? What's the story?

Exactly 1 week ago, the news broke that Britain’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) was hacked and all the data had been posted on the internet.

One week on, what has changed? Well, the story is progressing nicely. There’s a weatherman and blogger from the BBC, named Paul Hudson who wrote in his blog that he was sent the “hacked” emails around 5-6 weeks ago. Very bizarre. You would think that since he works for the BBC, that this hacked email business would have made it out into the open earlier..??

Another thing that is very interesting is that Hudson wrote an article for the BBC in October 2009 titled “What happened to global warming?”. His argument is that over the last 11 years, there has not been an increase in global temperature. Some of the hacked emails mention this article. In his blog, Hudson mentions this point, saying that his research on global warming prompted the scientists to discuss and complain about his article – so he was copied on the emails. With that being said, Hudson can at least confirm the authenticity of the emails that he received.

So the point remains. Who collected the data and who sent it? Was I a whistle-blower with a conscience from the CRU, was it a scientist with a grudge?

Also, I think it’s important to mention that next month, the United Nations is holding a Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. Apparently, a world government is going to be created? And wealth is going to be transferred from the powers in the west to third world countries because of “climate debt” which is supposedly a front for an “adaptation debt” that the treaty requires the so-called rich countries to pay.

Why have we not heard about this already? Well, if they talked about it, the backlash would be HUGE. Our leaders and the media are not willing to give any information for fear of this. Power comes from fear. I have a lot more reading to do before I post anything else.. But for now, I think this is sufficient food for thought – on a Friday..

I found a few sites that are interesting, feel free to check them out if you want to do some further reading. As with any other posts, feel free to comment or say something if you think that a point I’ve made is wrong.

Friendsofscience.org – They have a lot of interesting articles
Dissidentvoice.org – Very interesting article and comments
BBC.co.uk – Paul Hudson’s blog

Is climate change just one big hoax?

So the big news on the internet today is the top institute for climate change at a East Anglia University in England having it’s emails and documents posted on the web. The news broke last night and apparently scientists at the Climate Research Unit (CRU) were aware of the security issue 3-4 days ago. Last night the data that was stolen was posted on the internet because apparently the science is too important to be kept a secret. A 61MB ZIP file containing the data was uploaded last night onto a Russian server – which is said to contain 1079 emails and 72 documents – quite a lot of stuff! The contents are allegedly supposed to show that climate change is nothing but a bunch of fiddled numbers by world class scientists.

There are a few ways to look at it. Either it’s completely real, completely fake, or a bit of both. I’m going to copy a few bits of the emails, and you can decide for yourself what you think about the situation.

Dear Ray, Mike and Malcolm,

Once Tim’s got a diagram here we’ll send that either later today or first thing tomorrow.

I’ve just completed Mike’s Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd from 1961 for Keith’s to hide the decline. Mike’s series got the annual land and marine values while the other two got April-Sept for NH land N of 20N. The latter two are real for 1999, while the estimate for 1999 for NH combined is +0.44C wrt 61-90. The Global estimate for 1999 with data through Oct is +0.35C cf. 0.57 for 1998.

Thanks for the comments, Ray.

Also “hide the decline”. WOW!!! This is some pretty heavy stuff, and super incriminating!!!

And the next email..
Climatic Research Unit

More examples of this are ALL over the web. I’ll list a few sites at the bottom if you’re interested in doing some further reading – on a Friday night(!!!)

I noticed that in the date/time stamp in the second email, the date year and time have been inverted. On all of the copies of this specific email I could find online, the dates are all backwards… Maybe this is evidence that they have been altered or manipulated in some way? Or maybe its just a glitch somewhere… I don’t know.. What do you think?

Scientists, lying, falsified results… It makes me think of Dan Brown’s novel Deception Point! Read it if you haven’t already – it’s a fantastic novel! I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens with this though. It just seems a bit too elaborate to be a hoax… If the CRU was hacked 3-4 days ago, could whoever was behind it have done all this work or was the hack just a smokescreen to get false information all over the web?

The scientist who wrote these emails has told the invistigative magazine TGIF that he does not know what he was referring to in the email that says “hide the decline” claiming that it was ten years ago and arguing that people don’t remember the context of what they wrote 10 years ago. Um.. if it was about something as HUGE as faslifying test results to build an argument about climate change then I’m inclined to thik that he would remember that…. But hey, that’s just me.

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/11/19/breaking-news-story-hadley-cru-has-apparently-been-hacked-hundreds-of-files-released/

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2009/11/20/possible-conspiracy-misreport-temperatures-found-media-mum

So there is a lot of big news on the internet today – and this has nothing to do with Twilight… There is a huge conspiracy theory brewing regarding the subject of climate change… The top institute for climate change at a East Anglia University in England had a whole climate-friendly boat load of it’s emails and sensitive documents posted on the web. The news broke last night and apparently the scientists at the Climate Research Unit (CRU) were aware of the security issue 3-4 days ago. Last night the data that was stolen was posted on the internet because apparently “the science is too important to be kept a secret”. I have not attempted to download it.. What if it’s a virus? I don’t need my computer being fried thanks!

However, there are a few ways to look at this situation. Either it’s completely real, completely fake, or a bit of both. I’m going to copy a few bits of the emails that can be found all over the internet, and you can decide for yourself what you think about the situation.

Cheers

“Mike’s Nature trick”??… Do you mean lying about results and spinning the numbers to promote your giant lie about climate change?! Also “hide the decline”. WOW!!! This is some pretty heavy stuff, and super incriminating!!!

And the next email.. If it actually is real, then it just goes to show that these people don’t have much common sense – who leaves such sensitive emails lying around. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!

Mike,

Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4?

Keith will do likewise. He’s not in at the moment – minor family crisis.

Can you also email Gene and get him to do the same? I don’t have his new email address.

We will be getting Caspar to do likewise.

I see that CA claim they discovered the 1945 problem in the Nature paper!!

Cheers

More examples of this are ALL over the web. I’ll list a few sites at the bottom if you’re interested in doing some further reading – on a Friday night(!!!) What also is very interesting is the fact that realclimate.org has posted on it’s website that having their emails posted all over the internet is a great way for people to see how “scientists actually interact”… Yeah OK! Telling them to delete their emails is normal? Isn’t that illegal??? And they also went on to mention that this big fuss wouldn’t be made if the documents were about the mating habits of butterflies. Perhaps not, but that’s not the situation right now is it…!!!! If butterfly sex had something to do with climate change then, yes, I think that it would still be a big deal.

It’s being reported on the BBC, but not in great detail, which is a little surprising given the repercussions of this scenario. Also, no one from the CRU is currently confirming the documents’ authenticity, although some individuals have said that they appear to be genuine.

On a side note, I noticed that in the date/time stamp in the second email, the date year and time have been inverted.

There’s nothing saying anywhere that the documents are definitely real or falsified. So it’s a bit premature to actually start properly commenting on it.. But I think it just seems a bit too elaborate to be a hoax… If the CRU was hacked 3-4 days ago, could whoever was behind it have done all this work or was the hack just a smokescreen to get false information all over the web?

The scientist who wrote some of these emails (Prof. Phil Jones) has told the invistigative magazine TGIF that he does not know what he was referring to in the email that says “hide the decline” claiming that it was ten years ago and arguing that people don’t remember the context of what they wrote 10 years ago. Um.. if it was about something as HUGE as faslifying test results to build an argument about climate change then I’m inclined to thik that he would remember that…. But hey, that’s just me.
