Ok, well, I kinda lied in the title, but that’s alright! Who remembers Sweethearts candy? They were the little rolls of sweets that had things written on them like “kiss me” or “be mine”.

This was all well and good. The company that produces the candy Necco, decided that they needed to update the candy to have more “modern” messages written on them. In the 90s they added “call me” and even “fax me” :s lol

But “call me” and “fax me” are to be replaced with “tweet me” and “text me” – what kid uses a fax machine?! haha

I was going to finish there, but I found these gems: Twilight Themed Sweethearts.

Oh Lord! More themed crap for the kids to buy!

These actually came out last year.. And more are planned to be released to coincide with the release of the Twilight Eclipse movie that is due to be released this summer. I’m telling you, these Twilight fan-girls are CRAZY! Don’t know if it’s a good idea to be giving these fanpires candy too!! Do you think Twilight is as crazy as I do?

According to a lot of sites, the Twilight Sweethearts are a little weak in the quality department – crooked faded print, some are blank – maybe only vampire eyes can read them?! Some of the text from them include: “Bite Me”, “I <3 EC”, “Lamb”, “Live 4 Ever”. The box says “Secret Scent… Rub To Reveal…”…Um….?! The box? or the candies?

And I seem to remember that these candies had “mean” things on them too.. I tried Googling it, but couldn’t find anything.. Does anyone else remember this? Or am I just crazy?

Ok I’m done. But if you would like to buy these Twilight candies, apparently they have them at Walmart. If not, then Amazon – but they’re like 4 times the price.

Or, if you buy both, you could combine them to make some funnies: “Bite Me” “Love Bug”; or “Me + You” “Fork”… ok, NOW I’m done!

Why do you think Twilight is so popular?

I was trying to tweet my girlfriend when it crashed and the window title became “This Site Has been hacked by the Iranian Cyber Army”

Anyone have the same problem??? Was Twitter Hacked?

I’m sure they’ll fix it soon.. because the site is definitely down right now… no more funny black window…

But did anyone else see this? or was I hallucinating? Let me know in the comments!

So, I copied the screen from Twitter.com… from pressing back a few times…

What do you think? legit? fake? why twitter? Why not hack CNN if you’re trying to make a point… ??? Who are the Iranian Cyber Army…??

I didn’t doctor that picture in any way – except a bit of cropping. It’s screenshot from my desk top. note the time and the title of the window (whatever that part of the window is called) and the address bar… And yes, the pictures didn’t open.. Probably because Windows sucks… But that’s a completely different rant…
